Saint Mary of Victories is not only a place of worship but one of the great architectural and artistic treasures of Saint Louis. We warmly invite individuals, families, school groups, and tour organizations to come and experience the beauty of this historic church in person.
What to Expect on a Tour
A tour of Saint Mary of Victories offers visitors the opportunity to:
- Admire the magnificent Gothic Revival architecture of the church building
- View the extraordinary high altar with its hundreds of sacred relics
- Explore the collection of 19th-century paintings and ornate statuary
- Learn the history of the church, from its German Catholic founding through its Hungarian chapter to today
- Discover the stories of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos and the other holy persons connected to this parish
Tours are available by appointment. Please contact us in advance to arrange a visit, especially for groups of five or more.
Visiting Independently
Individual visitors are welcome to visit the church during times when it is open for prayer and worship. Please respect the sacred character of the space and observe silence in the nave.
